A long, long time ago, Woebie's ancestors lived in the delta's of the great rivers, where sea and land play their endless game of "give and take". Their big flat feet show this. Handy for swimming and for wading through mud. To find the way through the marshlands and reed fields they had to have a very good sense of smell and hearing. That's why all members of the Woebie family have such big ears and a big nose. Of course, their voice had to be loud enough to overcome the rustling of the reeds in the wind. But now that "yelling" is considered rude, they only yell when it is really necessary or when they are angry.
Over time, the Woebie family prospered and spread around the globe. Their nosiness made this happen. They adapted very well to local conditions.
